We started doing "Bible Time" with Daniel after dinner. After several weeks of Daniel being too noisy for the "cry room" at church, we decided to work on sitting still a little each day. He has improved greatly in a month's time and now he begs Chris to read every night. He run excitedly over to the book and loves sitting on Daddy's lap. He's even started folding his hands by himself for prayer time. What a fun and beneficial tradition!
Daniel enjoyed all the other kid's toys at my friend Donna's baby shower. After seeing this adorable Quiet Book that one of Donna's friends made, my creative juices are going crazy. I've had WAY too much fun crafting up a storm this past month and now I have more plans for the future!
Isn't this the cutest thing!? The socks are magnetic and Daniel had fun putting them in the dryer over and over and over again.

He was thrilled with this squeaky toy. You know, I don't think he has ever had a squeaky toy!
The 16 year old!! Wow! What big mouths my brothers have! :-) Homemade ice cream! Yum!
Danny LOVES playing with all of Aunt Jamie's books. Mom suggested getting some "trainer" books for him since I don't want him ripping up all the nice children's books people gave me at the shower. So, today I went to Savers and man did I save!! These books were $0.69 each, plus buy 3 get one free. Daniel has had so much fun with them today and has sat down multiple times to read them. Then he brings them over to me to have me read them to him.
I didn't pose this!
Guess what? Daniel had pizza for the first time tonight!! Thought I should get a picture since he is destined to be crazy over pizza. He liked it, but someday hopefully he can try some with cheese. Then he really will be crazy over pizza!!
TTFN!
The quiet book is phenomenal! My, he is growing up. Thanks for letting us in the the action.
