January into February

Daniel finally got a little hair cut to even up the back.
He sat pretty still, probably since he got to watch Thomas the Tank Engine.

Daniel loves vacuuming, even if it's not connected to the vacuum.

Our new red wall in the fireplace room. We went with Sherwin Williams, Salute, and love it.

I'm still planning to paint the other three walls the color of the mantel, but haven't done that yet. New curtains are also in the works. I have many fabric swatches from the fabric stores,
but haven't decided which one to use yet.

Danny loves carrying things in his hood.
I couldn't help thinking of the movie, Tron, as he carried this lid around.

Weird, I know, but I felt like I was doing something wrong to chop this carrot up for the pot of soup.  So I took its picture and promised it a place on the blog. I feel like I needed to make it some clothes. :-\

Wondering how long it will be before he seriously starts to climb this gate!

 Watching Dad play FEZ.

He likes the new monkey decals in his bedroom. These decals ended up being cheap stickers that barely stay on the wall, but they are still very cute!

Examining his Valentine from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.

"Oh please, Mom, just let me taste it!!!"                  "Okay, I'll just look, but it's not as fun!"

Crazy baby LOVES seaweed! See for yourself!

Snow Days!

We've had about three snowstorms this week. It's beautiful, especially on the days that we don't have to go anywhere. Chris thought it would be fun to bring Daniel outside to experience the snow.
Daniel wasn't too sure what was going on as I bundled him up in his snowsuit, but he quickly got the idea and had a blast!

My two cute boys. :-)

Makeshift sled

Daniel was getting tired and enjoyed the rides back up the "mountain."
He fell on his face in the snow shortly after this, so that was the end of our playtime. :-)
(And no, he didn't fall off the shovel!)
