May
I've been obsessed with sewing lately and learning how to sew more professionally on knit fabrics. The boys modeling their matching "Treasure Pocket Tee" shirts.
Another top...Henley style from Peek-a-Boo patterns.
"Aurora" by Seamwork...such a beautiful design
Tea Party baby shower for Veronica back in April.
I had so much fun making tea party food...cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, blueberry lemon scones, cranberry orange scones and fruit salad. Yum!
Baby gift for Veronica. Fun pattern from Peek-A-Boo Pattern company.
"Mitered corner" baby blanket for the set.
When I realized that Mark has been walking around the college campus sporting his snowman hat received as a gift probably when he was 10, I commenced the making of "The Best Guy Hat Ever."
I finished right before winter ended! He loves it. Whew! Even though it's crotched, it looks knit and has an amazing stretch to it. What an super cool pattern!!
Danny LOVES Gingerbread Men.
Evan spends a great deal of time looking through books every day.

New Booties
Vroom Vroooom Vroom VROOOOOOOOM
Danny has spent the entire summer being scared to death of all the motorcycle noise around, but strangely enough, as the weather has cooled and the bikers have started taking their cars (also without mufflers, I might add), Danny has started creating his own noise pollution. Now it's Evan's turn to be scared to death and regularly burst into tears.
This post is especially for Uncle Nathan :-)

October
I know we still have a big event coming up for October, Blake's BD party, but here's what the month has brought so far.
Yesterday afternoon at the Gilchrists! Such fun in the leaves. Although Danny really didn't get into jumping into the leaves, as soon as Uncle Gary got out the rakes and trash cans, Danny was so excited. Silly boy!
Just to prove the jumper is still going strong. Danny has started saying, "Danny's turn, Daddy!" I was joking last night saying we'll have to start setting the timer so they each get 2 minute turns. Chris was not thrilled at that prospect. ;-)
Funny colors, but such happy brothers
Danny's new way of having a "happy face" for the camera.
Apple cider in progress at our good friend's house, the Swigerts.
Mrs. Swigert is extremely good with kids and makes sure they never feel in the way or useless. Here she is giving Danny lessons on how to cut up apples with a butter knife.
Enjoying lunch together (this is before poor Chris sprained his ankle).
A trip to the zoo with Mommy! That lion was made out of Legos!
It's so fun having this double stroller, from the Swigerts, I might add. :-)
These pictures of Evan just melt my heart! What a sweetie. He was extremely happy.

Getting ready to run and jump into the leaf pile.
Daddy and Danny with the "giants." (Clash of the Clans)
First experience watching Mr. Roger's Neighborhood
Only my brothers...would take apart the dishwasher and figure out how to run it with the door open in a quest to fix it...and of course they start this project over their half hour lunch break!
